撰写One of my friend, who in favor of order and rule, was telling me that before Microsoft DirectX was created, game developers have to deal with VGA pin definition while programming. That’s why he always believes the property DirectX is much better than the Open Graphics Library. Such statement is so weird that I thought even if it’s true (of course at the very beginning of game development, like the ATARI age, it is very likely to be true), and I don’t think that’s related to OpenGL.
My ex-girl friend once told me that she believed it’s my lacking controls from my parents in my childhood is the reason that I’m feeble and irresolute. (I would say that’s also what my father believes.) And when we talk about how to educate our children ( now seems we won’t have one T^T ), she would always suggest pushing our child to dancing, to learn calligraphy, to learn playing instruments……She also suggested me to join the army, to make myself stronger (I would say that must be a nightmare to me).
There is no doubt, that everything in the world have the law, everything is predictable. Becoming someone better, “better” in others’ eyes, is actually something have a strict guideline to follow. But I simply hate those guidelines. It’s a world where everything is programmed. But as an CSE student, I know a lot about programs. Computer is the tool invented to help people performing those repeatful, boring job. Everyone is born to do a creative, meaningful job. I will never regret for the freedom I’ve gained, for I know that’s what makes me who I am.
